What is Call Record Center?
Call Record Center is a server tool that enables
you to receive call records via internet from vEmotion,
and manage the call records collectively.
What can Call Record Center do?
•
Run as a server receiving call records uploaded
by vEmotion users.
• User authorization
management.
• Query for call
records based on given users and time span, and replay
call records.
• Produce statistics
reports for each user separately.
Will I need it?
If you are managing a large number of call records that
recorded by multiple vEmotion users, then the Call Record
Center will greatly facilitate your work.
Do I need to pay to use it?
Call Record Center is free now. You can use it without
paying. But we do appreciate your generosity if you
can make donation to support our work.
How can I begin with it?
1. Download
the installation package, and double click the EXE
to install it.
2. Configure the database source. For details about
this, press here.
3 . Click on the start menu
of your system. Under "Programs | Call Record Center"
you will find the
newly installed programs. Run the server
program and start the service.
4 . In the server interface, click the button "Manage
users" to add some users who will login to
the server to upload call records. At this point, the
server is ready for incoming logins and uploading requests.
5 . On another computer, surely you can use the same
computer, run vEmotion and click vEmotion's menu command
"Tools | Client". In the vEmotion Client
window, press button "Login" and type some
infos to login to the server. If you succeed, then you
can press button "Send files" to upload files.
6 . Manage the uploaded call records. From start menu
start the Call Record Manager
program. This program enables you to query for records
based on given users and a given time span.
Generally, Call Record Center shall be installed in
a server machine and the Server program will be kept
always running.

When the service is running, the "Start service"
button is disabled. Users can press "Stop service"
to stop the service. After installation, the most important
is to create some user accounts. Just press button "Manage
users", you will see following window:

Press the button "New user" to create a new
account. Do remember to set the Home folder for a new
user and insure the directory you specified exists. If
it does not exist, please create it manually. All settings
for an account is straightforward.
Client tool of vEmotion:

Press the button "Login" to login. In the "Login"
window, type the IP address or name of the server computer,
Port NO.(normally 8000), your user Id for Login name,
and password. After login, you can press the button "Send
files" to send call records. File transferring status
is displayed in the list window.
Call Record Manager:

Select some users from the list at the top left corner,
and set the beginning date and end date for a time span.
Then press the button "Query". Result call records
will be loaded and displayed in the playlist. Other operations,
such as sorting, replaying, are straightforward.
